I don't see what backup 3rd baseman Martin Prado has to do with brining Teixeira to Atlanta...

If any of the Cards' poles were half as big as Chipper's, they wouldn't be having those problems at the plate that are supposedly holding them back. The Braves are taking their mighty tomahawks to St. Louis in a couple of weeks to show those pathetic excuses for hitters how to swing a bat. That'll mark the series that Ankiel magically forgets how to hit and then we'll have to wait a few more years for him to come back as an incredible pinch runner.

Remember that. You heard it from the Tomahawk that Could first.

If you look closely at most of the Cardinal pitchers' performances over the past few weeks, you will see that most of them have recorded quality starts and the only big issues have come when the offense was asleep. So in a way, Rick Ankiel may just be the spark they need, but from his bat instead of his arm. In other news, it seems that the Braves are playing well. I guess it does pay to have a third baseman who loves to smoke pole and a first baseman who was wooed into coming to Atlanta because he loves to have his pole smoked by said third baseman.

You seem to be forgetting the fact that the Cards' starting pitching is about as effective as the wall between Mexico and the US. Or let me guess, you think they're gonna ride Rick Ankiel all the way to a division title? What are they gonna have him do, pitch? Hahahahaha...
