Cubs vs Cards (the website) started out as some spirited office banter between a big time Cubs fan (HarryFromHeaven) and a big time Cardinals fan (HereComesTheKing). The banter turned to trash talk and eventually the idea of a website came about. We registered the domain and finally, after like three years of talking about doing it, we actually put up the website so we could invite our friends to share in our trash talking.

Some of our early work can be found on MyPicksPal.com, which is another sports trash talk website that we made for a client of ours.

CubsvsCards.com is purely for the Cubs/Cards rivalry. Cubs/Cards is unique in that the teams have so many shared pieces that have helped fuel the rivalry over the years. For example, Harry called games for the Cardinals long before he did for the Cubs. There was the Lou Brock trade. There was the Big Mac and Sammy show that brought baseball fans back after the strike. The list goes on and on. The rivalry is the best there is between two franchises because we keep it that way.

We are using a blog engine to talk our respective trash, so feel free to make comments on any posts. We have required that you register first, which helps us keep blog spammers from littering our fine pages with online gaming and dick pill ads. We approve your first comment, after which you can comment freely. Oh, and please make sure you pick a good name that identifies your allegiance, not some thoughtless douchey name like mike420 or something stupid like that. Make it count!
